    Chrysanthemum was one of my favorite books as a kid, and Tocarra’s recap is perfection. I was a “long name” kid at school, and I had the very 90s problem of my name never fitting in the save files on our Nintendo 64 games at home (they often allowed 8 characters total). Weirdly, I did end up having a teacher name her baby Madeleine!
